About Department

The Department of Electrical Engineering at M. B. Education Society’s College of Engineering, Ambajogai was established in 2005 with the vision of developing highly skilled electrical engineers capable of meeting the growing demands of the power and industrial sectors. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing quality technical education through an excellent blend of theoretical knowledge, practical training, research, and industry-oriented learning. The department offers well-structured undergraduate and postgraduate programs that equip students with strong fundamentals in Electrical Engineering while exposing them to emerging technologies such as Power Systems, Control Systems, Electrical Machine Design, High Voltage Engineering, Embedded Systems, Power Plant Engineering, and Renewable Energy. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements, enabling students to become competent professionals and lifelong learners. The department is supported by a team of experienced, dedicated, and highly qualified faculty members who focus on academic excellence, innovation, research, and professional development. Students are encouraged to participate in technical events, workshops,
industrial visits, project exhibitions, internships, research activities, and skill development programs that enhance their practical knowledge and employability. The department is equipped with modern laboratories that provide hands-on learning experiences in various specialized areas of Electrical Engineering, including :

The department has consistently produced university rank holders, gold medalists, and successful professionals working in government organizations, power utilities, public sector undertakings, multinational companies, and leading software industries. Many alumni are serving in the Maharashtra State Electricity Department and other reputed organizations across India.
